Joining in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/iphone\/\">iPhone <\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rim.com\/\">Rim<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.palm.com\/us\/products\/phones\/pre\/\">Palm Pre<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/windowsmobile\/en-us\/default.mspx\">Windows Mobile<\/a> firefight, there are now <a href=\"http:\/\/maemo.org\/\">Maemo <\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.limofoundation.org\/\"> LiMo<\/a>. The later two (Maemo and LoMo) are entering the market just as there is an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.android.com\/\"> Android <\/a> explosion of new phones. And while the Android phones are very tempting my requirements still point me at the <a href=\"http:\/\/maemo.nokia.com\/n900\/\"> Nokia N900<\/a>, and I think that unless the <a href=\"http:\/\/info.vodafone360.com\/en\/experience\/index\">Vodafone M1\/H1 360 <\/a> doesn&#8217;t get traction early, LiMo will be an early dropout.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: as predicted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobileindustryreview.com\/2009\/12\/vodafone_360_-_an_absolute_failure.html\/trackback\"> Vodafone 360 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c An Absolute Failure?<\/a> <\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well if anything, you can&#8217;t say there there are too few choices in the Smartphone arena.
