I was more than happy to bring them out for an airing, although my back, and <a href=\"http:\/\/sxoop.com\/twitter\/\">Walter&#8217;s <\/a> will be thanking us later for our efforts. I would definitely offer (like in free beer) the collection to any group who would display, preserve and teach the history of these (and other) machines from my collection. And I support Conor&#8217;s idea of a computer\/science\/technology museum in Cork. After all, just because the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucc.ie\/en\/\"> UCC<\/a> <strong>Computer Science Department<\/strong> refused the offer, doesn&#8217;t mean that citizens of The Republic of Cork should be denied the gift.<br \/>\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.branedy.net\/?page_id=305\"><br \/>\n<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.branedy.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/Antique_computers_Bar_CampIII-1024x343.jpg\" alt=\"Antique_computers_Bar_CampIII\" title=\"Antique_computers_Bar_CampIII\" width=\"550\" height=\"200\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1350\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/center><\/p>\n<p>UPDATE: IS this going to be opportunity to have a Museum <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cometocork.ie\/index.php\/news-and-events\/cork-science-park\/\"> Cork Science Park <\/a> <\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conor got a cheap thrill from some of my Amazing Collection of computer Toys that I brought to the BarCampCork III meet up.
