{"id":2010,"date":"2010-11-26T18:07:35","date_gmt":"2010-11-26T17:07:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.branedy.net\/?p=2010"},"modified":"2010-11-26T18:13:58","modified_gmt":"2010-11-26T17:13:58","slug":"apprenticeships-for-the-unemployed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.branedy.net\/?p=2010","title":{"rendered":"Apprenticeships for the unemployed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The future of Irish unemployment, or for that matter, unemployment anywhere, may involve re-establishing a medieval apprenticeship, where students, or other unemployed IT\/Scientific\/Technical workers live with those in the same industry who ARE working, and learn the business from them, as MASTERS of the craft. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yorkguildofbuilding.org\/html\/body_medieval.html\"><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nApprentice &#8211; A Medieval Guild Apprentice was sent to work for a &#8216;Master&#8217; during his early teens.
